We have increased our accommodation offering across our network to meet demand for the forthcoming spring/summer season.
The accommodation restructure has been launched during English Tourism Week (17th – 23th March) and will enable more people to access affordable stays in both England and Wales.
We have increased the number of our hostels now selling beds in shared rooms (dorms). 46 of our hostels across all regions in England and Wales now offer dorm accommodation from just £15.00 per bed.
Dorm beds are available at some of our most popular hostels, including YHA Whitby in North Yorkshire, YHA Conwy in Wales and YHA Ambleside in the Lake District, as well as our city centre hostels in London, Bath, and York.
In addition to dorm beds, we are offering private rooms from just £29.00 per night and pitch up camping from just £10.00 per person per night.
Pitch up camping sits within our Camping and Cabins offering which has also been increased for 2023.
We introduced our Camping and Cabins product to the network in 2015 and we have since added a selection of cabins, camping pods, Landpods, Airstreams, tipis, bell tents and safari tents to more than 60 hostels.
The most recent investment has included the addition of Airstreams to YHA Eden Project. We became the official on-site glamping accommodation provider for the Eden Project, one of Cornwall’s most recognisable attractions, in 2022.
The increase in the availability of dorm beds, private rooms and camping and cabins options will enable more people to discover affordably, the many amazing places and destinations that make up England’s tourism sector and which are being celebrated as part of this year’s campaign, co-ordinated by VisitEngland.
Alongside accommodation for individuals and families, we also offer a popular YHA Exclusive Hire option, which offers larger family gatherings or interest groups an affordable way to hire an entire hostel.
