YHA were recently recognised at the European Search Awards 2018, winning first place in the Third Sector category for Best Use of Search. The European Search Marketing Awards celebrate the very best in digital marketing across Europe, with brands like Greenpeace, Virgin Money, Expedia, Vodafone and Generator at the event. This award recognises the sophistication of YHA’s search marketing in 2017/18, which integrates the path to purchase across various online channels including paid search, organic search, display banners and social media channels.
Jon Smith, Head of Digital at YHA said: “Transforming our search marketing activity over the last 12 months hasn’t been easy, it’s pretty technical and complex and not that glamorous most of the time. So it’s really great to see that we’ve been recognised by the industry, and all the hard work behind the scenes hasn’t gone unnoticed. This is a significant achievement for YHA, along with our digital marketing agency (Found). I’m really proud of everyone involved, as we continue to move the needle and utilise the full possibilities of digital to create increased awareness of the YHA brand, products and services.”
